Teemu Nissinen

I started playing disc golf back in 2006 at age of 12. I was hooked immediately and I started to play more and more every year. 2009 I started competing and also dreaming about having a job around disc golf one day. During those early years I got to the top level in Finland quite fast and I was there 10yrs in a row (2010-2019). After that I decided to focus more working for disc golf. Few of my best tournament memories are; 3rd at European Championships 2016, Winning an big Eurotour event, 7th & 9th at USDGC, 11th at European open and two times when I got to represent Europe in Presidents cup.

It was 2015 when I started working around disc golf and I have had ever since then multiple different roles. 2021 I was thrilled to join Spin18 and start this new chapter. Course designing has always been a huge interest and I’m glad that I have opportunity to do that nowadays as well.
