Steel Club DiscGolfPark

Steel Club was founded in 1934 by the Bethlehem Steel Company to foster competitive sports and social interaction. As the club gained additional property, they hired world renowned course architect Donald Ross to design an 18 hole golf facility on the grounds. The par 71 professional course was opened in 1948.

In 2018 the Steel Club lives again and is reborn with new ownership and direction. Steel Club hired Steve Braud, Discmania employee and DiscGolfPark designer. Steve has a background in Golf having prepared Merion GC for the 2009 Walker Cup and the 2013 US Open Championship. The disc golf course was established in late 2018. The course offers a variety of shots with a lot of elevation. The course is one of the hardest in the State and offers great accommodations. Steel Club offers a free dining and disc golf membership, understanding that community involvement in their new business model is of the utmost importance. The steel club was built to host the best players in the world. In 2021 we will host the 1st Annual DGPT Match Play Championship.
